Iām a goofy Kelpie boy, found wandering the QLD/NSW border near Killarney and now in foster care, ready for my forever home!
I need an active household and love keeping busy ā whether itās matching my humansā energy or entertaining myself with my favourite game: stealing objects and decorating the lawn! Donāt worry ā Iām gentle with shoes; I just like to sit with them.
I have a cattle dog foster brother whoās teaching me confidence, and I love watching the horses, goats, sheep, and chickens at my foster home from a safe distance.
I know my name, āGizmoā, and have fantastic recall at home. Iām still learning lead walking and can be a bit nervous in new places, but I settle well indoors and enjoy shady spots while my humans are away.
Iāve started learning basic commands and could use some ongoing training to help me grow into the perfect companion.
Iām playful, loyal, and so excited to find my new family ā come meet me!

Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the āmeet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
