About Kora
🐾 Meet Kora – A Brave Little Survivor Ready for Love! 🐾
Kora has been in our care since early August, and her story is one of resilience and hope. This sweet girl came to us with a few health issues, and during her time in our care, has suffered with cat flu, ringworm, and a fungal infection, which has meant months of treatment and recovery. After all that time, Kora has finally healed and is ready to find her forever home!
✨ Personality & Temperament
Kora is naturally shy and timid, but don’t let that fool you—once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate side shines through. She loves to gently nuzzle her nose against yours to show love, and her foster carer describes her as lightning quick and intelligent.
She’s curious and loves exploring her surroundings, whether it’s chasing her favourite toys or watching the world go by from a sunny windowsill. Her cheeky zoomies will make you smile, and her gentle nature will melt your heart.
🛋 Sleeping Habits
Kora doesn’t have a dedicated sleeping spot—she chooses wherever feels cozy! It might be your bed, a lounge chair, or even a pile of towels. One thing is certain: she’ll happily climb into bed between 4–6 am to greet you and snuggle while patiently waiting for breakfast (sometimes with a little begging for attention 😺💤).
🍽 Mealtime Routine
Kora eats twice a day:
Morning (7–8 am): Half a cup of Royal Canin kitten kibble.
Evening (during your dinner): The same kibble plus half a can of Applaws (fish or chicken in broth). Timing her meals with yours helps her feel included and prevents her from going after your food.
Her favourite treats? Applaws products—she’ll actively look for them if she doesn’t get her daily portion!
🎮 Playtime & Enrichment
Kora loves:
🪟 Sitting by the window to watch the outdoors
🏓 Chasing ping pong balls
🎀 Playing with her shiny orange ball with ribbons
🔦 Laser light games
Swatting at dangling toys
Her foster carer dedicates at least 30 minutes of playtime daily, and her care package includes her favourite toys—the laser and orange ball are her current obsessions!
She may benefit from a more attractive vertical scratching post, as she currently prefers furniture over the one provided.
🧼 Litter & Care
Kora has used both paper litter (Breeders Choice) and soy litter without any issues. She’s clean and easy to care for!
✨ Additional Notes
Kora spent a significant amount of time caged during her ringworm treatment, so she is understandably frightened of cages and of being abandoned. Having a safe hiding spot will help her feel secure during the transition to her new home.
Kora is a brave little soul who deserves a patient, loving home where she can continue to blossom. If you’re looking for a gentle, intelligent, and affectionate companion who will reward your care with endless love, Kora is the one for you.
