About Love Heart
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A grassed yard for zoomies
- Children over 8 years
- Ideally another dog to play with Love Heart
- WFH or Part-time
Love Heart is just a lovable cheeky puppy. She is very active and mischievous. She loves a run, a cuddle, playing with her toys, a walk, stealing shoes and of course a nice snooze.
Toys are a must, otherwise any possession you have may become a toy to her!
And her name? Well just look at the “love heart” on her side!
She walks well on lead and is happy to greet other walkers, including dogs, with a wag of her tail.
We take her to a café in the mornings, and she is very sociable and happy. She is good with all the street noises, including garbage trucks, which can be scary. She travels well in the car but has not managed jumping in unassisted yet.
She loves her greyhound buddy in her foster home and has fun playing with him, so ideally she would love another social dog of any breed to have fun with. She is great with kids, but she can be very bouncy so she would be best with older children. She sleeps in our bedroom, along with our greyhound - there has never been a problem, and she sleeps all through the night.
Love Heart doesn’t like being alone; when we go out, she waits at the front gate. We have not left her alone for more than 2 hours. While she is adorable, still being a young puppy, she loves to chew on things she shouldn’t. But she is a very lovable and social girl who will keep you well entertained with her playfulness.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or oval]
