Meet Lady - A Sweet, Playful Companion Ready for Her Forever Home!
Lady is a loving, energetic girl who was house-trained in her previous home and enjoyed sleeping inside with access to a doggy door. She's happiest when she has company but can be left alone with enrichment to keep her busy-she loves toys and exploring! Lady is tolerant of children and will move away when overwhelmed, so we recommend older kids who respect her space. Loud noises and fast movements can make her nervous, but she's gentle and adaptable with patience.
She travels well in the car and is learning fetch-she prefers the ball and is still figuring out squeaky toys. Lady enjoys sand pits, chasing toys, and yard play. She's dog-social but can be vocal and excitable when meeting new friends, so a calm, tolerant older dog would be ideal. A meet-and-greet is required at adoption. She's still working on lead manners but does better after exercise. Lady will need time to settle into her new home, so someone who's around often-or a dog friend-will help her feel secure.
