Bear

Bear is a beautiful four-and-a-half year old Kelpie x, with the quirkiest set of inward facing ears he’s sure to stand out from the crowd.
Bear has a lovely temperament, he’s an easy going happy dog who adopts easily to new situations. He’s a good traveller in the car, toilet trained, walks well on a leash, is fine being left along, doesn’t jump and has no interest in human food. Bear is an excellent communicator and will let you know if he wants to go outside.
Whilst Bear will chill on a couch all day, when given the opportunity Bear has energy to burn. Bear LOVES to play, whether it is fetch or going on long runs. He is friendly, and excitable (because he can’t wait to play) with other dogs. His previous owner took him to dog parks and doggy day care. Bear may express his excitement with some leash pulling and barking (particularly when he sees another dog), and whilst he knows basic commands such as ‘sit’ he’ll benefit from some further training. Bear appears to be fine with children, but might be a bit boisterous for the younger age group.
Bear can take a little while to warm up to new people, particularly men. But once he trusts you (and it doesn’t take long) he is fine being handled and loves a pat.
Bear has a lot of love to give and is the perfect companion for an active individual or family, particularly a household that already have a dog-friendly active dog.
