Meet Harry – Your Big-Hearted Shadow With a Whole Lot of Love to Give! 🐾💙
Harry is a handsome almost 2-year-old boy with a sweet nature and a whole lot of potential. He’s clever, affectionate, and incredibly eager to please — he just needs the right person to guide him as he grows into the confident companion he’s meant to be.
🌟 What Harry Loves
• Being close to his humans (he’s happiest as your shadow!)
• Chew toys , walks and enthusiastic play
• Snuggles and naps with his person nearby
• Treats… especially blueberries! 🫐
🌱 Training & Temperament
Harry is a smart cookie and already knows Sit and Stay. He responds beautifully to his name when he’s feeling calm and connected. He is working on walking on his leash and with guidance and patience I have no doubt he will master it.
He can get a little overwhelmed when people come home or enter the house, which leads to all his excitement coming out. He can be jumpy, and needs reminding of his manners.
Under his initial nerves, Harry is a gentle, calm-natured boy who sleeps a lot and loves feeling safe beside his human.
🏡 Harry’s Perfect Home
Harry will thrive with:
• Someone who is home more often than not. Or a doggy companion to help keep him company
• An active person/family
• A large, secure backyard to play and stretch his legs
• An owner willing to continue his training
• Possibly a friendly canine companion with similar playful energy
🚫 Not Suitable For
• Children under 8 years old — due to his tendencies to jump up
Harry has so much love to give. He’s bright, affectionate, and incredibly loyal once he bonds with you. With structure, exercise, and a calm home environment, this beautiful boy will absolutely shine.
If you’re looking for a devoted companion who’ll follow you, adore you, and make you laugh with his goofy, playful nature — Harry might just be your perfect match.
Harry is in foster care in Dudley, NSW. His adoption fee is $500, and he is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
