Ravyn

Ravyn is a stunning one-year-old black cat who has already been through more than most cats her age. After lovingly raising her kittens in foster care, she developed mastitis and was heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, SAFE was able to take her in and she is now healthy and ready to find a home.

Ravyn is confident and intelligent. She knows what she wants and communicates it clearly. She initially found the shelter environment frustrating but when we put her in a larger space where she could climb, explore, and feel more in control, she relaxed and showed her true, affectionate self. In her foster home she settled in beautifully and in a similar home environment with someone who values cats and understands their communications she offers personality, presence and a unique bond. She’s an interactive cat who likes to ask for things and she loves going for walks on her harness which helps to keep her mentally stimulated and engaged.

Ravyn needs a gentle settling-in period to relax and show her very affectionate beautiful self. She thrives when given space, enrichment and opportunities to explore, and if you have patience, and respect for her individuality, she will be a deeply rewarding companion. Having Ravyn is like having another friend around — she offers personality, presence, and a truly special bond.

Ravyn’s ideal home:
A quiet, calm, adult-only household with routines, stability & consistency
An experienced cat guardian who understands feline behaviour
Someone who is home often and can provide stimulation and interaction

To meet Ravyn, please come to our Rehoming Centre in Roseville any day between 10 am & 4pm

Cat accessories such as carriers, litter trays, litter scoops, food bowls, etc. are all available for purchase at SAFE Haven, with all proceeds going into saving animals and caring for them until they find loving homes.
