About Lief - 12 Week Old German Shepherd X
đž Meet Lief â Big, Bouncy & Beautiful đž
Sweet and cuddly with a dash of mischief, Miss Lief (pronounced Leef) is a sunshine-filled pup with soulful brown eyes and a tail that never stops wagging!
đ Friendly & Fun
Lief is a social butterfly who loves making new friendsâboth human and canine! Whether sheâs romping in the garden, playing tug-of-war, or wrestling with her foster siblings, sheâs always ready for fun.
đĄ Smart & Eager to Learn
This clever girl is already using the doggy door and making great progress with toilet training. Sheâs learning basic commands like sit, come, and waitâespecially when treats are involved! Lief thrives on positive training and is eager to please.
đ Nap Queen & Cuddle Bug
After playtime, Lief happily curls up in your lap or her crateâher cozy little sanctuary. Sheâs crate-trained at night and sleeps indoors, close to her people, where she feels safe and warm.
⨠Bursting with Personality
Equal parts joy, sass, and snuggles, Lief will steal your heart. From chasing balls and chewing her favorite toys to curling up for quiet moments, sheâs guaranteed to light up your home.
Lief is a healthy puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and medium) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people, including older children and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Lief will grow up to be a large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly and patient adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Lief. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there should be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Lief needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Liefâs adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Lief is in foster care in Bolwarra, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
