About Gracie Abrams
Gracie Abrams is a beautiful cat who hasn't had the easiest start in life. Her early experiences have left her timid and unsure of new people and environments, but beneath that caution is a sweet soul who truly wants to feel safe and loved.
Gracie is looking for a calm, adult-only home with a patient, experienced adopter who understands the needs of shy or previously mistreated cats. She will need time, consistency, and a predictable routine to help her settle in and learn that she's finally safe.
Because of her history and her delicate, light features, Gracie must be an indoor-only cat. She also needs to be the only pet in the home so she can build confidence without competition or stress.
Gracie is what we lovingly call a "project cat"-a companion who may take a little extra time to come out of her shell, but who will blossom beautifully with love, understanding, and patience. For the right person, she will be an incredibly rewarding friend and a testament to the power of kindness.
If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the desire to help a vulnerable cat learn to trust again, Gracie Abrams may be the perfect match for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
