š¾ Meet Nemo ā The Ultimate Snuggle Bug! š¾
Nemo is a one-year-old ginger boy with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines brighter than ever! Despite coming to us with a fractured leg that required amputation, Nemo is thriving in foster care and living life to the fullest. His resilience is inspiring, and his affectionate nature will melt your heart.
āØ Personality & Temperament:
š± Affection Overload: Nemo is the definition of a lap cat! He insists on sleeping on your chest, nuzzled into your face and neck every night.
š Clingy & Loving: If you stop patting him, heāll gently nudge your hand until you start again. He even gives adorable wet-nose boops when he wants more attention!
š¾ Social Butterfly: Friendly with everyone he meetsāhumans, cats, and even dogs!
š½ļø Food Motivated: Treats are his love language.
š® Toy Shy: Still learning to enjoy toys, but his playful side will come out with time.
š” Ideal Home:
Nemo would suit a home that wants a super affectionate, people-oriented cat. Heās submissive with other cats and does well with careful introductions. Whoever adopts Nemo should love cuddlesābecause heāll want them all day, every day!
š©ŗ Health Notes:
Nemo had his left leg amputated after a fracture, but heās in amazing spirits and gets around beautifully. He can be picked up and held easily, but if heās lying on you and you try to readjust him, he may give a soft warning nip near his amputation sideājust his way of saying āouch, careful!ā

As mentioned in his bio, Nemo came into our care with a fractured front left leg, which required amputation. Despite this, he is extremely loving, gentle, affectionate, and happy!
Adoption details
Please do not apply to adopt via our animals' PetRescue profile.
Follow the links below to be directed to the Wollongong City Council website, and find your preferred animal's online profile.
Once in the online profile, scroll down and click the link to complete an adoption application. Once received, a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your application and suitability for your preferred animal.
If we deem the animal to be suitable for your home and lifestyle, an in-person meet and greet may be organised. Should your meet and greet be a success, you can take your new furry friend home that day or following their desexing surgery. Our team will manage all your animal's paperwork, including ownership and vaccination documentation.
