About Tara
❤️ Meet Tara ❤️
A gentle 11 year old cat who is finally ready to enjoy a peaceful life of comfort and love.
Tara has spent her entire life being used for breeding. Those days are behind her now and she deserves a home where she can rest, feel safe, and be cherished. She has a sweet, trusting nature and she is more than happy to be picked up and cuddled by her trusted human.
Tara will suit a quiet home with older kids who understand gentle handling. She loves calm company, soft blankets, warm laps, and a predictable routine. She has always been an inside cat and needs to remain inside only.
Tara must be the only animal in the home. She thrives when she has her own space and her own person to bond with.
Tara is also very chatty. She talks to her people and loves being up high watching whatever is happening in the home.

Medical notes
Tara has a grade 3 luxating patella, she is on some joint supplements for this as any cat of her age should be.
Tara does not like car rides so will need to be given medication to relax her on her trip to the vet. On her ride to her new home she will be given medication to help her stress levels as advised by the vets.
Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
