HOLLY
DOB: 21/8/2021
M/C: 900164002066468
Source No: RE100230
Adoption Fee: $500
• No small children (she could accidentally knock them over)
• Single dog home – no cats or small animals.
Holly has made huge progress with hundreds of hours of training over the past six months, helping her become an amazing dog. Although Holly has cataracts, she is not completely blind and manages remarkably well, you would hardly know she is vision impaired.
Holly has learned many commands including:
sit, drop, stay, wait, up, on your bed, heel, automatically sitting when you stop walking, slowly, gentle, place, free, come (recall not yet 100%), and outside to toilet.
Holly is a beautiful, loving dog with a funny personality. She absolutely loves cuddle time with her humans and is extremely affectionate. She will make someone a wonderful companion. The lucky person who adopts Holly will gain a deeply loyal and affectionate companion.
During Holly’s time in foster care, she has proven to be a fantastic dog. She takes food gently and has spent time with two six-year-old children, whom she adored and behaved beautifully with.
She loves her toys, especially tug of war, and enjoys throwing them in the air and catching them. She’s also great in the car and sits quietly on the back seat (harnessed in) without complaint.
Holly sleeps beside her foster carer’s bed all night, uses the doggie door, and is fully house trained.
She can become frightened if she hears or senses another dog, especially barking from behind a fence. Let’s face it, someone with limited vision would also feel uneasy hearing aggressive noises nearby.
Holly has trained with Trish from Four Paws K9 Training, where she became comfortable walking alongside Trish’s dog Raine. She has also trained with Alex from Refine Your Canine, where she did remarkably well.

A Day in Holly’s Life
Holly enjoys a relaxed routine. She loves going for walks, playing with her toys, and spending time close to her humans. In the evening she happily curls up beside her foster carer’s bed and sleeps peacefully through the night.
She travels beautifully in the car, takes treats gently, and loves cuddle time. Despite her cataracts, Holly confidently navigates her home and enjoys life just like any other dog.
