About Rakki
*In foster care in Ashfield, Sydney*
Rakki made our hearts melt from the moment we met him - and his foster carer is hopelessly in love!
This precious boy has the most beautiful temperament - so playful and curious, but he'll also crawl into your lap and fall asleep there for hours. He adores a little chin scratch and does an amazing BIG stretch :)
Of his siblings, Rakki is closest to his brother Pickles, and in an ideal world we'd love to see them adopted together. (I mean, LOOK at them sleeping on each other!) Check out Pickles' profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1156057
Like all Maggie’s pets, Rakki is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be relatively calm and quiet, where I'm either the only pet or there's another friendly cat for me to bond with. I enjoy having lots of cosy spots to snooze in and high perches for looking at the world!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: If I'm not pouncing and zooming around, I'm snuggled up in someone's lap. (Or fearlessly scaling tall vertical surfaces and giving you a heart attack. It's all in good fun!)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A home with kind kids who'll handle me gently sounds lovely!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My brother Pickles is my best friend, but if you're unable to adopt us as a pair I think I'd get on well with another nice cat.
Dogs might be a bit scary, though! That said, if yours isn't too big and has a chill vibe, maybe we can make it work.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
