About Harley
🌿 MEET HARLEY — the tender-hearted Miniature Poodle who just wants a calm, loving home 🌿
Harley is a 3 year and 9 month old Miniature Poodle
Harley weighs 4kg
Harley came into care as a private surrender through no fault of his own, and from the moment he arrived, it was clear he is a gentle soul with a big heart. Timid at first, but deeply affectionate once he feels safe, Harley is the kind of little companion who bonds quickly and thrives on quiet company.
He’s incredibly smart, emotionally intuitive, and happiest when life moves at a soft and steady pace.
He enjoys spending his days indoors, wandering in and out as he pleases, before settling on the lounge or snuggling up beside his human.
He sleeps comfortably in the bed and loves being close to the people he trusts most.
Harley is toilet trained, though he sometimes needs a gentle reminder to head outside, and he confidently uses the doggy door.
With a little burst of energy when it’s time to go out, Harley enjoys a 20-minute walk and stays focused and well-mannered on the lead.
He can be a bit of a barker now and then, but mostly he’s a quiet boy who simply likes to observe the world around him.
He gets along well with familiar small to medium dogs and is just as content being an only dog as he is sharing his home with a gentle canine friend.
Children, cats, and small animals are untested.
Harley is motivated by treats, praise, and the comfort of human attention.
His unique mix of intelligence and emotional sensitivity makes him a truly special little dog who understands his people in a way that feels rare and precious.
As a Miniature Poodle, he requires regular brushing and bathing, along with professional grooming every 4–6 weeks.
Harley is a sweet, sensitive boy who will blossom with patience, kindness, and a peaceful home.
If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion who will adore you with his whole heart, this little man may be the perfect match.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
