About Beans
🐾 Every Greyhound Has a Story – Meet Beans 🐾
Beans is a beautiful 6-year-old boy (born 23.01.2019) who’s been loved deeply and cared for — but now he needs help finding the right home where he can truly relax and feel safe. 💛
This sweet, gentle soul has so many wonderful qualities:
✨ Great with kids – he’s been living with a 10-month-old and a 3-year-old
✨ Excellent on the lead and loves his walks
✨ Toilet trained, quiet (he doesn’t bark), and calm inside
✨ Loves cuddles, teddies, and meeting new people
✨ Storm proof, up to date with vaccines, and had a dental check just 6 months ago
Beans has been an indoor boy — sleeping peacefully in his bed and soaking up family time. He’s not food-obsessed, just a sweet, easy-going companion who wants to be close to his humans. 🐾
But lately, poor Beans has been struggling. 💔
When left home alone, he becomes very anxious — crying, chewing at the wood, and becoming distressed if left outside by himself. He’s telling us he’s scared and needs more reassurance and company. 💔
He would be much happier if he had doggy companion to make life less scary and to have security of a dog friend while you are away.
Beans would love a home where he can:
💚 Stay inside when home alone
💚 have another calm dog to keep him company while you are at work or out
💚 Be included as part of the family — on the couch, in the same room, feeling connected and secure
He’s been tested with cats and had shown no interest. Does not currently live with cats but we feel he could be trained
Loves other dogs ! And definitely would like a doggy companion.
Beans has so much love to give — he just needs a home that understands his sensitive heart and can offer him the comfort he craves.
If you can offer Beans the safe, loving space he needs to truly blossom, please reach out to to arrange a Pat n Chat with Beans 💕

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
