Casey is proof that resilience and personality can go hand in hand. When he first came into rescue, life had clearly dealt him a tough hand — but what shines through now is his strength, his progress, and his wonderfully fun spirit.
These days, Casey is a happy, affectionate boy with a goofy side that has made him a firm favourite at the shelter. He is always up for pats, absolutely loves playing with the hose, and will happily burst into games of fetch (and the occasional comedic zoomie).
Casey’s responds well to positive energy and calm guidance and takes pride in his good manners — patiently sitting for meals, walking nicely on leash, and showing off his excellent toilet training.
Casey is now ready for his next chapter - could you be the one to give him a second chance and the life he deserves?
While Casey can take a little time to feel comfortable in new situations, his progress so far is a true testament to his resilience. With consistency and encouragement, he continues to show just how capable and adaptable he is.
Casey is dog friendly; however, he would be best suited as the only dog initially while he settles into his new environment. He has not been tested with cats or pocket pets and is best suited to a home with children aged 12+.

Casey is care in Fullerton Cove NSW. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms. Casey’s adoption fee has been generously donated by a member of the community to help him find his forever home.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
