Sprout is a beautiful girl full of sass and love who will brighten your every day. She loves all people, kids and dogs and is ready for her forever home!

Don’t be fooled by the breed – Sprout is small, at around 17kgs, and we do not think she will get much bigger!

Sprout loves human company, and is happiest when curled up alongside you on the couch, or playing with her toys with you nearby. She loves scratches pretty much anywhere, with multiple favourite “spots” that will get her leg kicking! She is a sassy girl, and will tell you if you’re not giving her enough attention!

A ball of energy, Sprout loves to entertain herself romping around with toys, and talking back to the squeaky ones! She can easily entertain herself for hours, spending her time alone rolling in the grass, barking at the rain, and throwing her toys around.

Sprout is quick to learn, comes when called (although not trialed off leash yet!), sits, and toilets on command. She will respond quickly to training and loves to make you happy. She has good house manners, but being young, is still a chewer, so needs gentle redirection to her toys. She also jumps sometimes when excited, but is slowly learning to keep her paws down. She walks well on the lead and is excited to meet other dogs and people. A 30-minute walk once or twice a day would be perfect for her.

Sprout currently sleeps inside, with access to the outside, but could adjust to crate training – or to your bed! She is toilet trained and goes on command.

Sprout’s ideal home would:
- Welcome her inside some of the time
- Someone who works from home sometimes, or where she is not left alone every day
- Have an older dog to play with and teach her the ropes of doggy manners
- Be committed to ongoing training, and provide basic care for her sensitive skin

- Dog friendly
- Kid friendly (over 10+)
- Not yet tested with cats or pocket pets

Sprout is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW. Her adoption fee is $700, and she is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
