About Chapman
Meet Chapman — the big blue cuddle-bear with a heart of gold!
Hi there! I’m Chapman, and my carers like to say I look a bit like a giant blue teddy bear — and honestly, they’re not wrong. They also describe me as “absolutely the sweetest boy in the world… with the attention span of a goldfish.” I’ve decided that’s a compliment, and I’m sticking with it!
I’m a happy, joyful lad who loves life and all the little adventures it brings. Lately I’ve been acing my “alone time” sessions, and while I definitely have bursts of goofy, bouncy playfulness, I settle beautifully once I’ve got my sillies out.
I really enjoy meeting other dogs — I might get a bit excited at first, but I calm down quickly and respond well when called away. And oh, walks? My favourite! Especially the important sniff-and-explore part. Who knew the world had so many incredible smells?
I’d be perfectly happy living with another dog, but I’d also be delighted to be your number-one guy. Kids over 5 would also be fine, as long as they are kind and understand that I need space and quiet while I’m settling in to home life.
I absolutely adore pats, scritches, and any form of affection you’re willing to offer. I’ve even perfected a trick: I shimmy my whole body right up to the front of my kennel whenever volunteers walk past, just to earn a bonus neck rub or two.
I’m sweet, gentle, handsome, and full of love — and I’m hoping to find humans whose hearts are ready for a big, blue bundle of joy like me. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll brighten every day, I’d love to meet you.
Love, Chapman x
