Hi, I’m Nani!

In Hawaiian language, Nani means ‘beautiful’ and ‘glorious’, and I think that sums me up! I’m a gorgeous 5-year-old brindle girl, with a soft heart and a serious addiction to cuddles. The volunteers have even described me as “the snuggliest girl in the world”. I love people with my whole heart and I’m basically a very long-legged lap dog. If you sit down, I’ll do my best to climb into your lap and politely request (okay, demand) pats! And if you give me belly rubs? Congratulations, you have just become my best friend.

I’m also a playful girl with a silly streak. I love toys, I’m fun and cheeky, and I’m an absolute water baby! I have personally tested every pool at Greysland and just love to lie down and have a good soak. Followed by some very wet cuddles with the volunteers!

I’m good with other dogs, but still need a little help to build my confidence so I can be my bravest self. What I truly need most is a home where my person is around much of the time. I’m a cuddly, people-focused girl and I feel happiest when I have plenty of company and reassurance. If you work from home, are home often, or can take me along for the ride, I’ll be one very happy hound.

So If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate greyhound who will make your house feel like home (and your couch feel like a cuddle puddle), I might just be your girl.

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
