Hi, I’m Effie. I may look like a delicate little kitty queen, but let me tell you - I am FULL of purrsonality.

Nature
Now, I’ll be honest… I need a little settling-in period. New homes are big and weird and full of suspicious corners, so I might spend the first week or two quietly observing you like a tiny Victorian ghost cat. But once I decide you’re my person? Oh boy. Velcro mode activated.

If you sit down for more than three seconds, I will be there, climbing onto your lap, kneading tiny biscuits straight into your soul, and purring loud enough to shake the furniture. Pats? Yes. Chin scratches? Absolutely. Full body cuddles? Don’t threaten me with a good time.

It’s ESSENTIAL I go to a home with someone who works from home or is home full time. I am very used to being around humans all the time, and given I don’t like other cats, I would get very lonely being home alone all day. It’s also essential I am an INDOOR ONLY cat, as I was surrendered due to behavioural changes after being let outside. But I’ve done well in the cat run in my foster home, so a cat run could be good too.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with a baby and I quite like her, she isn’t moving around much yet so that could be why. I don’t think I’d like toddlers or children otherwise just yet, but a baby would be fine. Otherwise teens and adults only please.

I get along with one of the cats in my foster home, but I honestly despise the rest. I would love to be the only feline friend in my forever family - I prefer having the attention to myself.

I live with a 50kg dog and I really like her! I rub all over her legs. I could live with another calm, cat-savvy giant breed dog. I’ve met a small puppy before and I didn’t like her, so only an older, giant dog would be OK please.

Likes / Dislikes
Loud noises? Terrifying. Sudden movements? Rude. Other cats? No thank you, absolutely not, I am the star of this show and I will not be taking applications for roommates.

My PURR-fect home would be in a home of my very own! I wouldn’t like to live with other cats. I could picture myself living it up in an apartment with someone who works from home, that would be my dream! I’d love an indoor only home please.
