About Harley - 4 Year Old Dachshund
Meet Harley. With his short legs, and his soulful eyes, it’s hard not to fall in love with Harley. Do not expect personal space with Harley in your home, he’ll stick like glue to his people he’s got so much love to give.
Harley is just learning about the outside world. He will need a family with patience and kindness to introduce him to new experiences by going slowly and making them positive.
Harley is learning to walk on lead and has enjoyed short sniffs around the neighbourhood. Harley has started his weight loss journey fuelled by his new fresh food diet which will need to continue in his forever home.
Harley is not phased by cats and loves other small dogs. We’re not sure how he would go with children. He frightened of loud noises, so a calm home with kids over 10 is probably best. He will need a backyard to enjoy and sniff around in and laze the sun if he feels like it. He’d love a small dog and some company from his humans.
Harley is currently in foster care in Turramurra, Sydney, and he is available for adoption to NSW and the ACT only (no flights). Harley is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms. His adoption fee is $800.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
