About Hope
Hi, I am Hope. I am a happy girl who loves having dog friends around me. I play so well with other dogs and I really do enjoy having someone to chase and wrestle with. I am also very polite with cats. I give them space and I do not try to chase them at all. I would be fine as an only pet but I would be thrilled to have a buddy.
I sleep inside or outside. I am also crate trained and settle well. During the day I hang out with my foster siblings in the yard and we have a great time together. My foster parents work full time and I do fine with that routine.
I have seen chickens and I am not bothered by them. I have not been allowed to wander freely with them yet but I do not seem very interested. I have not met young children so far but I am a gentle girl so I think I would do well with slow introductions.
I love meeting new people. If someone would like to pat me I am always happy to say hello. Chasey and tug of war are my favourite games and I adore playing with my foster siblings. I can sit and I know how to go to my bed when asked. I am a clever girl and I enjoy learning.
I am still learning inside manners. I had a little wee on the carpet after coming in for the first time in a while but I am trying my best. With a bit of routine and guidance I will get it right. I am also getting used to the lead. Sometimes I get a bit confused and try to walk backwards but I am improving every time we practise.
I handled my vet visit beautifully. I was wagging my tail and being my sweet self. I am mostly a quiet pup. I have started to find my voice a little and will do a soft alert bark if I hear something outside. I just like to let my humans know what is going on.
Even though I play hard, I actually sleep the most out of everyone here. I enjoy a good nap. I am too little to know about fencing yet but I am not showing any signs of trying to climb or escape.
I am a very sweet girl. I love lying on my back like a little goof. I feel happiest when I am close to my human. I love pats and I try to show how much I love you every single day.
If you think I might be the pup for you I would love to meet you.
