Meet Snickerdoodle — handsome, funny, smart and full of classic Dachsie charm

Snickerdoodle is a genuinely lovely boy with a huge heart who is thriving in foster care. He adores being with his people, happy for scritches, cuddles, and playing with toys. If people are around but no one is available to do couch time with him he likes to tuck himself away under a blankie.

He gets along beautifully with the resident dog, is good meeting new people, quickly learns routines and sleeps peacefully in his crate (though he’d love to share your bed if you are willing). He is highly food-motivated (his foster calls it “focused enthusiasm”) and is quick at learning new behaviours.

His love for his humans knows no bounds — if he could figure out how to leave the house, he’d make a gold-medal-worthy high jump just to find you at work. He celebrates your return from the letterbox and brings daily laughter with his antics.

Snickerdoodle is making great strides with his lead manners and learning he doesn’t need to say hello to every dog he sees. He is fully toilet trained.
