About Poppy
Poppy is a sweet, gorgeous, little angel of a girl, sent from the heavens.
She has a more introverted personality and can be shy on first introductions, however, a little treat in hand will have poppy quick to show you she trusts quickly. She needs a little time to warm up to people she's never met, but when she feels confident and comfortable in your presence, she makes you feel life is no longer possible living life without you and shows deep love for her hoomans.
Poppy thrives off cat companionship and needs to be adopted into a home with other cats or an active household with children. Being a gals gal and growing up with her mumma and sister Emmy, we are open to adopting Poppy as a trio with her mumma - Mabel and sister - Emmy.
Her ideal forever home, is a home that values interaction and is ready to give this shy (at start) girl a vibrant, loving future. Her fur-parents are people who love cat companionship but will be able to give Poppy the freedom to take her time integrating into her new home, allowing her personality to grow and evolve at her own pace. We request Poppy is adopted into an indoor home only or are willing to spend the time and effort harness training her.

BD Fur-Rescue does not have a physical location so therefore we ask that you fill out an application form to adopt one of our beautiful feline souls.

Our adoption process aims to ensure a long lasting relationship for you and your adopted feline friend.
Following the submission of your application, BD Fur-Rescue can then make a balanced judgement to see if your lifestyle will suit one of our fosters.
There are no right or wrong answers, these questions are purely aimed at assisting us find the perfect companion for you and fur-ever home for our fosters.
Once your application is submitted and reviewed (please click here https://www.bigdollansfurrescue.org/pages/adopting to submit your application), a foster carer will contact you via phone to potentially arrange a meet and greet.
This line of work is purely volunteer based work, so please be patient with the turn around time. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner to keep the adoption process moving forward as quickly and smoothly as possible.
