Chance

Hello there! My name is Chance, and I’m basically a lovable tangle of long legs, big feelings, and endless enthusiasm. If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a baby giraffe, a wet noodle, and a golden hearted goofball combined forces wonder no more.

I currently live with two other dogs, including my border collie brother. Together, we host daily “Run Amok Olympics.” He’s the fast one. I’m the long one. We make a great team like peanut butter and jelly, if peanut butter occasionally tripped over its own paws.

But wait, there’s more!

I also live with plenty of children, and let me tell you… I LOVE kids. They drop crumbs (bonus snacks),They give hugs (excellent). They run around (zoom buddies!) and best of all, they don’t care if my legs go in four different directions when I try to sit they think it’s hilarious.

At home, I’m a total sweetheart. I love curling up next to my humans, even if I have to fold myself into a shape that defies science. I try very hard to be polite and well behaved. I’m crate trained, I keep the house rules in mind, and I always want to do the right thing mostly because it makes my humans happy, but also because praise tastes almost as good as treats.

I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I know you’re safe, I become the lanky shadow you never knew you needed. I’ll follow you around, wag my tail so hard my whole body wiggles, and lean into you like you’re the world’s comfiest pillow. I’m sweet, sensitive, and truly just want to belong.

If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, warm your heart, entertain your kids, play with your dogs, and love you with his entire tall body, then I think we might be perfect for each other. I’m ready to run, cuddle, flop, zoom, and grow with the family meant for me.
