About Ice Cream
Ice Cream is a sweetheart who will melt your heart with her gentle and affectionate nature. Initially, she might be a little shy, but give her some time to get to know you and watch her playful and loving personality bloom.
Ice Cream is accustomed to living with both dogs and children, making her a versatile companion for various household dynamics. Her adaptable nature means she can thrive in homes where there’s already a bustling family life or where a canine companion is present.
Interested in meeting the delightful Ice Cream in person? You can meet her at U17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South to see if she might be the perfect fit for your home. For more information on how to express your interest in adopting Ice Cream, please visit the Friends of the Pound online adoption form: [Friends of the Pound Adoption](https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/).
This special girl is looking for her new family to share her gentle purrs and playful antics. Don’t miss your chance to welcome Ice Cream into your life!

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
