About Tammy
Meet Tammy, a quietly charming feline who is in search of a tranquil and loving home. This shy girl thrives in a peaceful environment where she can take her time to settle in and show her true colors. Tammy would make an ideal companion cat for someone who is patient and understanding, allowing her to establish trust at her own pace.
Once Tammy becomes comfortable, she reveals her deeply affectionate nature. With a little time and care, she will blossom, offering endless love and devotion to her new family. Tammy needs a caring person willing to invest the patience and kindness needed to bring out the best in her, and in return, she'll fill your life with warmth and companionship.
Are you interested in welcoming Tammy into your home and heart? If you think you can provide the calming, quiet environment Tammy needs, please reach out by completing our online adoption expression of interest. A brighter future awaits Tammy, and she just may be the gentle presence your home has been missing.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
