About Lua
Meet Lua, a gentle soul with a heart full of love and tranquility. Lua is an affectionate feline companion who would do best in a serene and friendly household, where she can find comfort in the soothing presence of her human friends. Her peaceful nature makes her an ideal match for someone who values the calm and companionship a devoted cat can bring.
Lua appreciates her downtime and will be happiest in an environment with minimal chaos or noise. She's an excellent napping buddy and will curl up next to you, providing a sense of serenity with her gentle purrs. If you're seeking a loving and calm companion, Lua could be the perfect addition to your home.
You can visit Lua at our Adoption Centre located at 17/39-41 Corporation Cct, Tweed Heads South NSW 2486 from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 3 pm. Please note that all adoptions are subject to our adoption application process. To express your interest in adopting Lua, please fill out our online adoption expression of interest form at [Friends of The Pound's site](https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/).
She would be a wonderful addition to a peaceful home with a loving heart ready to welcome her into their family.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
