About Boris - 16 Week Old Staffy X
Boris is a very sweet 16 week old black and white staffy cross.
He currently weighs approximately 8kg and is growing quickly! He loves his food and playing with other dogs. Boris has been is very settled pup, very happy to snuggle in his bed and sleeps quietly through the night. He is doing very well with his toilet training and learning to sit. As he is still quite young he will require ongoing training and does still have puppy tendencies.
Boris absolutely loves people and would make a great best friend. He is looking for a loving person or family that can provide him inside space to sleep, lots of cuddles and a walk each day. He should grow to be a medium size dog.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Boris. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Boris needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Boris’s adoption fee is $800 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Boris is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
