About Betty
Meet Betty, a delightful Poodle mix with a gentle soul and a sweet disposition. At just 3 years old and weighing 5.4 kg, Betty is the perfect small-sized companion for anyone seeking a loving and quietly loyal friend. While she may be extremely shy and nervous at first, she has a heart full of love just waiting to be shared.
Betty thrives in the presence of kind and patient people who can offer her a serene and quiet household. She prefers a calm environment that allows her to explore the world at her own pace. Sitting in the safety of your lap, Betty finds comfort and confidence while taking in her surroundings. Her non-aggressive nature makes her an ideal addition to families or individuals who are ready to invest time and attention into helping her blossom.
Betty gets along well with other dogs, and you can always spot her delight in their presence by the way her tail wags. She is a bundle of potential love and warmth, with the capacity to offer companionship to both human and canine friends alike. If you have the heart and time to nurture Betty's gentle spirit, she promises to fill your days with the quiet joy of a trusting and affectionate bond.
Medical notes
Betty had a dental scale, no extractions.
She had a very small umbilical hernia which was repaired.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
