Leah is a gentle soul with lots of love to give. She is looking for a calm, stable home with people who are home often and will allow her indoors.
Leah can feel stressed and unsure in new environments, so she will need quality time and gentle reassurance to settle in. She arrived as a stray on a stormy afternoon and was overwhelmed, showing signs of potential storm phobia. Her new owners will need to support her through this and provide a safe, secure home.
Leah can be unsure with close or quick handling, so positive interactions and gentle hands at her pace are essential. She is best suited to older, respectful children.
When on lead in unfamiliar areas, Leah can be wary and tends to stick close to her handler. She will need time to feel safe at home before gradually building confidence on quiet walks.
