About Dixie (67299)
Dixie is a pint sized border collie who makes up for it with high breed instinct. She has shown to be initially shy but generally quite loving and appeasing to those she knows. Dixie LOVES to chase, as a typical border collie would, and is looking for a home that has a good tennis ball throwing arm! Dixie may suit living with a medium to large male dog, but tends to herd small animals including cats, pocket pets and sometimes small dogs. Dixie also liked to try to chase trucks. Due to this she needs a home that will continue to work on her management in suburban areas, ideally with a trainer, and must stay on lead and under the control of her new owners at all times. She is eager to please and work with her people and will be an awesome dog with those who can out in the effort ot work with her. Dixie may suit a home with children over 10 who can handle an energetic girl. She is not suited to living with any cats, pocket pets or small dogs. If you think this active girl may suit you and your family, please apply.
