About Odie (67245)
Meet Odie - the sweet boy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life!
Odie arrived at GAWS with a female dog who has since been reclaimed, leaving him on his own. At first, shelter life was overwhelming for him, and he found it hard to settle. But true to his resilient nature, Odie has worked incredibly hard and continues to show us just how bright his future can be.
Odie can become a little dysregulated at times and was initially quite vocal and excitable on lead, but with consistent training he has come ahead in leaps and bounds. He's learning how to make good choices, take things in his stride, and enjoy the world calmly and confidently.
He may be suited to living with a well-matched female dog who can complement his energy and help him continue learning. Odie is not suitable for a home with cats, and any children in the home are recommended to be 10 years or older. He may also need guidance transitioning to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle.
If you're ready to give a loyal, affectionate, and determined boy a fresh start, Odie is waiting to meet you.
