Doveton is a ten-year-old tabby boy with the softest heart wrapped in a very weathered little body. His old scars, folded ears, bobtail and worn teeth tell a story of a cat who has survived far more than he ever should have. Yet through all of it he has held onto a gentle, loving nature that shines the moment you show him kindness.

He leans into pats, closes his eyes with relief when someone offers him comfort, and has the sweetest calm presence. Right now, he seems a bit flat, which is understandable given his past, but you can see how much he wants to feel safe and loved. With a peaceful home, good care and someone who understands he needs a soft landing, this boy will absolutely blossom.

Doveton has FIV which simply means he needs to be an indoor only cat and to be the only kitty in the home. Cats with FIV can still live long, happy, affectionate lives. His history with dogs is unknown. He is fine with kind children who move gently around him.
