About Snowy
Snowy is a female domestic short-haired cat available for adoption in Brisbane (QLD).
Calm, gentle and beautifully undemanding, Snowy is the kind of companion who brings a quiet sense of peace to the home she shares.
Healthy and easy to care for, she enjoys a slower rhythm of life and settles naturally into calm environments where she can relax alongside the people she trusts.
A little about Snowy:
🐾 Healthy and low-maintenance
🐾 Calm, gentle temperament
🐾 Affectionate with trusted adults
🐾 Best suited to a quiet, adult household
🐾 Prefers to be the only pet
🐾 Would enjoy secure outdoor access
Snowy’s days follow a gentle routine that many people find wonderfully grounding. She enjoys moving between sunny windows, comfortable chairs and quiet corners where she can rest nearby while her people go about their day.
You’ll often find her stretched out in a warm patch of sunlight or curled into a creative lounging position that makes you smile without even trying.
With the adults she knows, Snowy is deeply affectionate. She greets her people with soft head nudges, settles comfortably beside them, and happily shares lap time during relaxed evenings.
She isn’t demanding for attention, but she genuinely enjoys companionship and being close to the people she trusts.
Snowy feels most comfortable in homes where life moves at a gentle, predictable pace. Busy households with lots of noise or young children can feel overwhelming, so she would be happiest in a quiet adult home.
Visitors may not meet her straight away, but with patience and kindness she gradually builds trust and forms meaningful bonds with the people around her.
Snowy would thrive as the only pet where she can enjoy her space and routine without competition. Access to a secure outdoor garden or courtyard would give her even more sunny places to explore and relax.
Life with Snowy has a wonderfully peaceful rhythm.
Mornings often begin with Snowy stretched out in a sunny window while the day slowly begins around her. Afternoons tend to pass quietly, with Snowy nearby as you go about your routine, occasionally shifting to a new sunbeam or favourite chair.
Evenings are where her affectionate side really shines. As the house settles down, Snowy happily curls up beside you for relaxed couch time, offering soft purrs and gentle companionship.
If you have a calm home and would value a gentle companion who appreciates life’s quieter moments, Snowy may be exactly the kind of presence you’ve been hoping for.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
