About Hugo
Meet Hugo, a huggable bundle of love wrapped in a stunning American Staffy package. "Chunky Hugo," is a big softie with a heart š expansive as his size. His previous life was one of love, spent on a small acreage with his dad, who has sadly passed away.
Hugo is a well-mannered fellow who walks beautifully on a lead š¾. While the world outside can be a bit overwhelming for him, he is used to going on small walks and is always content to return to the comfort and familiarity of home š”. His ideal family would understand his need for stability and routine, providing him with the love and structure he cherishes.
This loveable guy has grown up with children. While he can get a bit anxious, especially after all heās been through, the presence of a calm-natured female dog might just be the perfect companionship for him. He's currently living with a cat.
Hugo needs daily exercise to keep boredom at bay, as well as lose a few kgs. Hugo loves his family so may take time and patience to settle into his new home, but it will be so worth itā£ļø.
Are you ready to welcome Hugo into your life and provide the stable, loving home he deservesāļø.
Assisted rehoming:
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal. Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
