About Padme
Hi, I am Padme.
My life was not easy before I came into care. I was found heavily pregnant and alone on the street, trying my best to survive. Someone kind reached out for help, and Belle Vie took me in. And not long after that, my beautiful babies arrived safe and sound.
I have been a fantastic mum, but now it's my turn for a loving home. I have not met any dogs properly yet, but I think with a slow sniff or two I would be fine.
I am good with older children, as I have been around them since going into care. Sometimes I get a little shy when new people arrive; however, I just need a moment. Once I feel safe, I will come out for pats, and then I love being close to my people.
I adore toys and silly things. Bottle tops, little balls, my cat tower, and my watermelon scratching post all make me very happy. Plus, I love playing fishing with my humans. One of my favourite things is curling up beside you or right in your lap. I am still young, and I have so much love to give.
I am also perfect with my litter habits (too perfect at times), so a high-sided litter tray would be great.
I am also FIV positive. Many people worry when they hear this, but cats like me can live long, healthy, happy lives with good care. The most important thing is that I am the only cat in the home so everyone stays safe. If you have any questions about FIV or what it means for me, please reach out. The team is always happy to explain.
If you are looking for a gentle girl who has survived a tough start and is ready for a soft, loving life, I would love to meet you.

🐾 Medical Update for Padme 🐾
Beautiful Padme has tested positive for FIV. We know this can sound worrying, so we want to reassure everyone that FIV is not a life sentence. Many FIV positive cats can live long, healthy and happy lives with good care, a safe indoor home and regular vet check ups.
FIV cannot spread to humans or other animals. It can only be transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds, which is why Padme will need to be the only cat in her new home.
If you have any questions at all about FIV, how it works, or what life looks like with an FIV positive cat, please reach out. We are always happy to talk you through it and support you every step of the way.
Padme is a gentle young mum who deserves her chance at a loving forever home.
