Meet Eloise,
Eloise is a delightful young girl with a soft, affectionate nature and a playful streak that makes her irresistible. She loves interacting with people and joining in on whatever adventure is happening. Whether she’s bouncing around with excitement, exploring new places, or working on her commands (which she’s learning quickly!), she brings so much charm to every moment. Outgoing, sweet, and full of love to give, Eloise is a beautiful puppy looking for a family to grow with.
Dog-friendly? Yes! Eloise is open to meeting other dogs - ongoing socialisation training will be a great addition to her social skills, too.
Cat-friendly? Unknown - we can't really test in this environment, so it’s up to her new family to introduce her carefully.
Kid-friendly? Absolutely! She’s open to meeting children of all ages!
Considerations:
Eloise would love a yard, with high secure fencing, so that she can play in it safely. She dreams of a home with toys - lots of toys! As well as daily exercise/walks to keep her body physically fit & her mind mentally fit. Treat/food puzzles are a great tool and great way to keep active puppy minds engaged!
Eloise is starting to explore her surrounds & is growing in confidence each & every day. However, it would be a wise move to invest in a crate & start crate training. This type of training is not only a highly valuable skill to have but is a great skill for any dog to learn and know.
Eloise should be enrolled into puppy training classes as soon as she is adopted. These classes & training will set her up for life and will allow her to learn social skills & etiquette, as well as define her manners. These classes & training will also teach her how to appropriately interact with other dogs as well as other animals & people. These training classes will also assist her new owner, as they can both learn new skills together.
If you've got other animals at home, that's okay, just make sure that they have a gradual & supervised introduction - preferably over a few days - to ensure that they have the best chance of becoming friends for life.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
