About Nookie SUA014464
Introducing Nookie, a sweet and endearing lady looking for a patient and loving new family. Nookie is a gentle soul who may be a little shy and nervous at first, but given time and assurance, she blossoms into a wonderfully affectionate companion. Her tender nature and love for being with her people make her a delightful addition to a peaceful home.
Nookie is all about building meaningful connections and, once settled into her new environment, will reward her humans with warmth and gentle love. While initially reserved, she soon enjoys engaging in little chats, always ready for a friendly banter with her person. Being around her trusted humans is her greatest delight, and over time, her affectionate side will truly shine.
A true foodie at heart, Nookie appreciates her meals and will certainly look forward to dinnertime as one of the day’s highlights. However, she prefers to keep the spotlight all to herself and does not share her space with other cats. As a result, she's best suited for a home where she will be the one and only feline to lavish her love and attention upon her cherished human companions.
Nookie thrives in a quiet, calm environment, ideally without children or chaos, where she can bask in the tranquility she loves.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
