Meet Tonka, an almost three-year-old Staffy x Shar Pei with a heart as big as his ears. This gentle fellow may be nervous when meeting new people, but with a little patience and understanding, you'll discover the affectionate and playful dog that lies beneath. Once he feels comfortable, he will be by your side, ready to shower you with love.

Tonka has a soft spot for squeaky toys, though he’s become quite the expert at removing the squeakers! He enjoys the simple pleasures of lounging around but perks up when it’s time to hang out with his human family. While he's good with other dogs, he's not the most playful canine at the park. Instead, he finds joy in simply co-existing and occasionally seeking companionship, making him a great addition to a home with other pets.

Tonka will be available for adoption starting November 30th and is eager to find a family who appreciates his unique personality. With the right home, love, and a few squeaky toys, Tonka is set to become a loyal and devoted companion who's just waiting for the chance to warm up and show the world his true colors.
