About Tigga SUA014418 & Chip SUA014419
Meet Tigga (9yo Tabby) and Chip (7yo Grey), an inseparable bonded pair of seniors yearning for a loving new family to call their own. This charming duo has shared a lifetime of love and companionship, and they are seeking a tranquil home where they can continue to bring each other joy and offer unconditional love to their human companions.
Tigga is the more confident of the two and has a friendly disposition that draws people in. He adores nothing more than curling up on a warm lap for a rejuvenating snooze, and his playful side beams through when he's entertained with noisy toys. Tigga's nature makes him the perfect feline companion for those who enjoy having an affectionate friend by their side.
On the other hand, Chip is shy around strangers and needs some time to adapt to new surroundings. Settle her into a peaceful environment, and she will gradually show her sweet, loving nature. Chip thrives in quiet, harmonious households and appreciates a serene atmosphere where she can feel safe and loved.
Both Tigga and Chip have lived harmoniously with a feline-friendly canine in the past, showcasing their adaptable personalities, though they would be happiest in a household without young children. As indoor-only seniors who have never explored the world beyond, they uniquely cherish the safety and comfort of a cozy home.
If you have a serene home and are willing to open your heart to this devoted duo, Tigga and Chip will surely fill your life with affection, gratitude, and many precious moments. They have lots of love to give and are excited to start a new chapter with a family who appreciates the beauty of their companionship.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
