About Paris
Hi, I’m Paris! I’m a sweet little Chihuahua mix looking for my forever home.
I’m the kind of dog who loves nothing more than being close to my people—I’m a true lap dog at heart! I’m looking for someone who can be around often because I love to snuggle and hang out with you.
If you have another small breed dog at home bring them in to meet me to see if we are a match. I’d prefer calm, small dogs that are gentle with me.
I love spending time indoors with my humans, so I’ll need to have indoor access to feel safe and comfy. I’m already mostly trained to use puppy pee pads, so I’ve got that part covered. If there are children in the home, it’s important for them to meet me and learn how to interact with me calmly, as I can be a bit shy and don't like loud noises. I promise, though, once I’m comfortable, I’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for.
I can't wait to move into my new home but there a few things to consider first.
My knees don't work as well as they should and my vet team says I need surgery on one knee. My vets said I don't need to worry - they know they can get my leg working properly but it does mean at least one surgery and 2-3 months of rest with no running around. I am hoping to get settled with my new family and then have my surgery. RSPCA will cover the surgery cost -all you would need to do is look after me after surgery, keep me quiet and bring me back for any required recheck appointments.
Once recovered I will be back running and playing better than ever!
Due to my surgery being booked with RSPCA my new home will need to be within driving distance of RSPCA Sydney (Yagoona) to allow for my follow up visits after surgery.
While recovering from surgery I would love some company through the day so my ideal home would be with someone who can be home with me more often than not.
I love riding in the car and also love the doggy pram so I don't have to miss out on all the fun stuff though.
