Roydon is such a happy boy and likes to carry around his soft toy "puppy" but would never de-fluff him! He is active and healthy.

He likes being with his foster family whether they are out walking or napping at their feet. He is an easy-going, friendly boy and adores kids and people. He is great with his foster family's cat and good with other dogs but if they are bigger than him, he can be a bit uncertain. He is easy to redirect though and is not aggressive.

He is very receptive to commands and can sit, stay, wait (for you to go through the door or wait for food), back, drop, rollover, spin, high five, on your bed and he is learning to go through weave poles. He has great recall too. He waits for the command to eat his food and if he is looking interested in another dog or food or the cat, if you say leave it - he does. Fantastic for a labrador!

He is good at being home on his own with no signs of separation anxiety to be seen. He travels well in the car and can jump in the back of the station wagon with ease.

He is happy with a medium sized backyard and loves his regular walks. He walks well on lead and is easy to redirect if he gets distracted. Basically, as long as he is involved in family life, he will be so happy.

He sleeps through the night on his bed. His foster family doesn't have a doggy door so are not sure how he is with using one but they bet he would be easy to train.

He would thrive in a home where he is included in activities and everyday life as much as possible.

He will be such a loving and loyal member of your family.
