In sports terms, Bowmore is a triple threat! He loves to play, although at 24kg and a bit uncoordinated, he needs a dog that can match him. He loves tug of war, wrestling and occasionally a game of chasey.

Bowmore is a handsome kelpie mix, just a touch taller than most with his long legs. He’s still got that adorable puppy spark, full of enthusiasm and charm and a little bit of mischief thrown in. He will steal your socks if you’re not careful and he will definitely steal your heart.

This boy is a true people-lover—affectionate, smoochy and always keen for a cuddle. He will lean on you to get your attention or just climb into your lap whilst watching tv. He walks with a halti like a superstar but loves a long and pleasant ramble with plenty of stops for sniffing along the way.
He enjoys his food, loves a good chew toy, and is always ready to hop in the car for an adventure. Smart as a whip, he already knows “sit” and usually understands when you say “no.” His new home should be prepared to help him with setting boundaries.

Bowmore currently lives with 3 other dogs. A 7 year old great dane cross, a 3 year old heeler cross and a 10 month old border collie. He loves to play with the younger dogs and is submissive and respectful of the older dog. He is happy being outside during the day when we are at work, but when we are home, he loves to be involved with whatever the family is doing. He showed more curiosity than concern when meeting the vet’s cats. He sleeps through the night on his bed.
