About Spencer
⭐️ MEET SPENCER — the happiest, toy-toting Groodle you’ll ever meet! ⭐️
Spencer is 2 year and 11 months old Groodle, full of sunshine, and has a tail that never stops wagging. He’s the kind of dog who makes life brighter the moment he enters a room — and trust us, he’ll make himself known.
How? By proudly carrying a toy in his mouth, performing full-body wiggles, and looking at you like you’re the most wonderful thing in the world.
This playful, cuddly boy loves belly rubs, zooming after his ball, and long walks — he’s always up for a little adventure. Out and about, he’s a social butterfly, happily greeting people and dogs alike, though he believes with his whole heart that birds must be chased, closely followed by a fascination with waves along the river.
Curious, energetic, and full of love, Spencer is always ready for fun… or a snuggle when it’s time to relax.
At home, Spencer is the perfect companion. He’ll snooze nearby while you work, settle quietly in his bed, and never beg for your food — though he happily finishes a meal with a tasty mix-in. He loves dog yoghurt, isn’t a chewer
Spencer has excellent toilet manners, though a new home may need a few extra let-outs at first if there is carpeted areas.
He sleeps soundly at night either in his bed beside yours or tucked under the bed in his favourite cosy hideout.
When left alone, he may cry for a moment, but he settles quickly and isn’t destructive or noisy.
Spencer already knows sit, shake, and responds to his name, and he’s learning stay and come. Outdoors he can get a little excited by all the sights and smells, and he sometimes jumps when greeting new people. He hasn’t quite mastered lifting his leg yet, which means the occasional stroll through his own pee — very on-brand for Spencer!
Spencer came into care after his elderly owner could no longer look after him, and he has taken the change in stride with his usual sunny, affectionate nature.
He loves people, cuddles, and will happily let you know when something interesting happens outside (or when a bird dares to appear!).
He’s also kid-friendly, especially with children who enjoy walks and playtime, and he’s the type of dog who would happily share his home with a calm doggy friend.
Spencer's current weight is 11.4kg
As part of his rescue care, Spencer has had a dental scale and polish, keeping his pearly whites sparkling and ready for endless kisses.
If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, adventure-loving, and utterly lovable boy to brighten every day, Spencer is your perfect match.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email.
