About Sienna
Hi! My name is Sienna. I’m a 6 month old Maremma—a sweet, soft-natured girl who is beginning to grow into her natural guardian instincts.
So we can process your application as quickly as possible, please visit our website (https://www.workingpaws.com.au/application-questionnaire) and complete a questionnaire with as much detail as possible.
**Sienna is not suited to a suburban or built-up home. She needs a rural property or acreage where she has space to move, explore, and develop as a livestock guardian.**
.
She will do best in a home that already has an older, experienced Maremma to guide her and show her the ropes.
A family who understands guardian breeds, includes her in daily life, and is committed to ongoing training and socialisation will give her the best chance to thrive.
Sienna is a gentle, affectionate pup who bonds strongly once she trusts you. She enjoys spending time outdoors, following her humans around the property, and quietly observing everything happening around her. She’s curious, calm, and has that classic Maremma independence starting to shine through.
Sienna knows her basic commands and is steadily building confidence as she grows.
She has been tested around cats and very young kittens (as young as 5 weeks old) and behaves appropriately and positively, exactly as a young Maremma should.
With consistent guidance, routine, and the support of an older Maremma, she’ll continue developing into a reliable and well-balanced adult guardian.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
