Nipper

If life were a cartoon, Nipper would be the enthusiastic sidekick sprinting across the screen, ears flapping, tail wagging like a helicopter blade. This spirited Jack Russell Terrier is a pint-sized adventurer with a big zest for life — and he’s ready to find a family who can keep up with his boundless energy and charm.

Nipper arrived at Lort Smith after a rather… culinary misadventure. Let’s just say he ate something he definitely shouldn’t have, which led to surgery and ultimately to us. He has recovered beautifully and is now bouncing around like nothing ever happened — but this cheeky history means he’ll need a family who can be mindful of what he might “taste test” in the future.

Despite his occasional over-enthusiasm, Nipper is a social butterfly with other dogs — he loves a good play session, even if he sometimes forgets that not everyone appreciates his full-throttle approach to fun. As the only pet in the home, he’ll soak up all the attention, but doggy playdates are still very welcome.
