About Theo
Meet Theo, a bright, fun and boisterous pup. This black and tan kelpie is already showing what a wonderful companion he will grow into.
Theo is silly, lovely, and full of energy, fetch is one of his favourite games but he also has a great “off switch”—after playtime, he’s quick to settle down for cuddles or relax quietly on his mat indoors for a well-earned rest.
Theo is thriving in foster care, where he’s been learning to walk well on the lead and practicing his manners. He’s incredibly smart, picks up new commands quickly, and loves to show off his skills, though he still has a way to go with his training. He’ll need a home committed to continuing his learning journey, and he’ll reward that effort with loyalty and affection.
This playful boy adores other dogs and would do well in a home with a canine friend to rumble with. He’s best suited to a home with adults or families with older children who can enjoy his lively nature without being overwhelmed by his puppy enthusiasm.
Theo is looking for a home where he can be part of the family, continue his training, and share his boundless joy. With the right guidance, he’ll grow into a loyal, well-mannered companion.
Apply today to adopt Theo and discover the perfect mix of fun, smarts, and snuggles in your new best friend.
Theo is located in TAS.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
