Nature
Kahlo is a handsome, medium-haired tabby boy with a soft heart and a gentle soul. Once an undomesticated kitty, he’s been making wonderful progress in foster care and is now fully free roaming in his home.

He enjoys relaxing in big cat trees, sitting nearby with his foster mum, and quietly observing the world around him.

While he’s not ready for pats just yet, he’s becoming more confident, curious, and comfortable being close. He's a sweet, cat obsessed boy, with the cutest “where are you?!” calls.

Kahlo is well on his way to discovering the joys of domestic life. With time, kindness, and the right feline company, he’ll continue to flourish and show even more of his sweet, quirky personality.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Children may not be the best match just yet, as Kahlo still needs his boundaries and body language to be respected while he continues to develop trust in humans.

Kahlo is a cat-lover extraordinaire. He absolutely adores both the resident cats and foster kitties. He finds comfort and confidence having other cats around - he’s even gentle with tiny foster kittens, approaching with soft nose bops and friendly curiosity.

He has also been exposed to two large, boisterous dogs during holiday foster care. From the safety of his caboodle, he showed no fear or distress, so with slow, respectful introductions he may be suitable for a calm, cat-savvy dog.

✅Other cats (his absolute favourite!)
✅Finding a nice comfy bed to sleep on (not yet with the human.)
✅Hanging out in his big cat trees, watching birds
✅Toys, playtime, and anything that involves food
✅Sitting nearby with his foster mum
✅Following his cat friends around
✅Singing out when he can’t find his buddies

🚫Sudden close contact with humans (for now)
🚫Having his boundaries pushed
🚫Being without his feline friends for too long
🚫Sudden loud noises

My PURR-fect home would be a calm environment with patient, gentle humans that understand that trust takes time. I would absolutely need at least one friendly cat friend and a high perch or cat tree for bird watching and relaxing.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
