Hello! I'm Kahlo, a magnificent tabby gentleman with model looks and a marshmallow heart. About a year ago, I arrived in foster care as a mysterious "undomesticated lad," and since then, I've transformed into a confident free-roaming king. My foster mum would happily keep me forever, but she's already at the maximum number of cats she's allowed, so she's helping me find the loving family I deserve. I'm not quite accepting pats yet, but every day I'm becoming a little braver and more curious about this whole human thing.

My favourite royal duties include lounging on towering cat trees, supervising the household from a strategic distance, bird watching, waiting politely for my royal meals, and singing dramatic, "Where are you?!" ballads whenever I can't find my cat friends. I've also recently become best mates with tiny foster kitten Ashy, who's only about a fifth of my size. We love playing chasey and "whack-a-mole," (Ashy is the mole hehe) and when she's worried about going to the vet for her vaccinations, she climbs on top of me because she knows I'll help her hide from foster mum. Being her gentle giant bodyguard has become one of my favourite jobs.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I'm still learning to trust people, so a calm home with no children would suit me best, while I continue building my confidence.

Other cats are my absolute world. They're my security blanket, my confidence boosters, my best friends, and my family. I adore resident cats, foster cats, tiny kittens, and now little Ashy too, so I absolutely must have at least one friendly feline companion in my forever home.

I've also met two large, bouncy dogs during holiday foster care and handled it like a true gentleman. With slow introductions and a calm, cat-savvy dog, I'd be happy to share my kingdom.

My PURR-fect home would be with a calm, patient family who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. I need at least one friendly cat companion, a tall cat tree fit for a king, and an indoor-only home (or one with a secure cat enclosure). Give me time, and I promise you'll have the privilege of watching a once-shy boy blossom into the loyal, quirky companion my foster mum already knows I can be.
