About Ziggy - 4 Year Old Jack Russell
Ziggy is a 4½-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with an impressive record of achievement in exploration, agility, and backyard reconnaissance. Known for his composure under pressure and unwavering focus, Ziggy approaches every new challenge with the same quiet determination that once took a man to the moon.
Born with an instinct for discovery, Ziggy has spent his career testing the limits of courage, curiosity, and small-dog physics.
Whether scaling furniture, conducting solo missions to the back fence, or performing precision leaps, he demonstrates remarkable discipline and control. He enjoys long walks, complex fetch operations, and periods of quiet reflection.
Ziggy was surrendered through no fault of his own after a domestic mismatch with a larger co-pilot. He has since undergone extensive recalibration and is ready for redeployment with a single person, couple, or family with children over twelve. He would best suit a dog-savvy adopter who appreciates intelligence, independence, and a touch of heroism. Ziggy thrives under a clear command structure and values teamwork above all else.
Highly loyal, brave in the face of vacuum cleaners, and always mission-ready, Ziggy stands prepared to take one small step into your home — and one giant leap into your heart. Ziggy is toilet trained and looking for a home with no children under 12. He would be well suited with another dog of similar size or as an only dog. Ziggy is untested with cats
Ziggy is in foster care in the Newcastle, NSW area, and is NOT available for interstate adoption. His adoption fee is $700, and he is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
